Tennis/Pickle Ball & Bocce Courts - Opening on June 10th
As both South Down and Long Bay navigate through the State of NH guidelines for reopening additional amenities, we feel it is appropriate at this time to open tennis/pickle ball and bocce courts under the Universal Guidelines set forth by the State of NH and the terms below.  As of noon time June 10th, theses amenities will be open.  Please remember that the use of these facilities are at your own risk and if are using these facilities you will adhere to all of the guidelines.

PLAYING SINGLES TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL SAFELY

PREPARING TO PLAY
•    Plan only for singles play.  No Doubles Allowed.
•    No sharing of rackets.  
•    Bring your own 3-4 tennis/pickle balls that you have marked with your initials.
•    Bring hand sanitizer and two towels. One for your hands and one for your face if needed for sweat.
•    Review the guidelines below with your opponent while maintaining a 6' distance.
•    Sanitize and wipe your hands with your hand towel, if you have touched the gate to enter the court.
•    If you know you have been exposed to the virus, have a temperature, or are feeling ill  avoid these common areas
•    Users setting up pickle ball nets are required to wear gloves.

DURING PLAY
•    Try to stay at least six feet apart from other players. Do not make physical contact with them (such as shaking hands or a high five).
•    Touch only your own tennis balls.
•    Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, racket or other equipment. Wash your hands promptly if you have touched your eyes, nose or mouth.
•    If another opponent's tennis/pickle balls from another court comes to your side of the court, send it back with a kick or with your racket.
•    Maintain physical distancing if changing ends of the court.
•    Remain at least 6 feet apart from other players when taking a break.

AFTER PLAY
•    Leave the court as soon as play is complete.
•    Wash your hands thoroughly or use a hand sanitizer after coming off the court.

•     Bring hand sanitizer and two towels. One for your hands and one for your face if needed for sweat.
•     Review the guidelines below with your opponent while maintaining a 6' distance.

•     Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, or other equipment. Wash your hands promptly if you have touched your eyes, nose or mouth.
